Who we are

Affordable Accountancy ("we", "us", "our") is a sole-practitioner accountancy practice based at Pencoed, Quarry Brow, Gresford, LL12 8SJ. We are the data controller for personal information you provide to us through this website and during the course of our work for you.

What we collect

• Contact details you submit through our forms, such as your name, email address, phone number and business name.
• Information you provide in messages and during consultations.
• Records required to deliver accountancy services, including financial information, identification documents and tax references.
• Basic technical information collected automatically when you visit the site, such as anonymised analytics about pages viewed.

How we use it

We use your data to respond to enquiries, provide the services you have engaged us for, meet our legal and regulatory obligations (including those of HMRC and Companies House), and to improve the way our website works.

Lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests for responding to enquiries, performance of a contract for delivering services to clients, and legal obligation for tax and regulatory record keeping.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data that does not become a client engagement is kept for up to 12 months. Client records are retained for a minimum of 6 years after the end of the engagement to satisfy HMRC requirements.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We share information only where necessary with HMRC, Companies House and trusted service providers (such as our software vendors) under appropriate agreements.

Your rights
